Jewett Cameron became a Visionary Sponsor in 2023 given more than $10,000 to Forest Park Conservancy to invest more into volunteer programs. Jewett Cameron is listed under sponsorship with their new sustainable brand, MyEcoWorld® which manufacturers compostable products such as kitchen trash and food waste bags and pet poop bags. Jewett Cameron has been involved in the Business Sponsorship Program since 2019 in many capacities such as hosting trail work, volunteering and being an active sponsor.

Doggie Dash is a fundraiser held every year in May for Oregon Humane Society and a celebration of this community’s love for animals. The event raises critical funds to fight animal cruelty, save injured pets, and find homes for thousands of shelter pets in need. For the 2023 event, Jewett Cameron organized their own volunteers, donated products, including security fencing from their brand, Perimeter PatrolTM for the finishing line and organized their own participants’ team to partake in the annual event. Jewett Cameron has been involved with the event since 2012.

The annual later summer event, Elephant Garlic Festival held in August every year organized by the North Plains Events Association. Jewett Cameron Company calls North Plains, Oregon their home and prides its involvement in many community causes – these include multiple events held in North Plains. OR. Jewett Cameron assists with the Garlic Festival with a corporate sponsorship, participating volunteers and even participates in the annual Garlic Festival parade with a parade float of their own! The event provides fun for all employee families attending and great opportunity to introduce the community to Jewett Cameron.

On Earth Day, April 22, 2023 Jewett Cameron organized a garden clean-up effort for their local elementary school in North Plains, Oregon. The Jewett Cameron teams’ efforts put up SPRING GARDENERTM greenhouses, relocated rocks, trimmed the school’s playground to make it safer and built numerous garden planters. With these efforts the elementary school can continue to educate younger generations early on regarding impact to our Earth.

In December of 2022, Jewett Cameron teamed up with Best Friends and the No-Kill Utah Coalition to donate 532 Lucky Dog crates in an effort to save animal lives. This $60,000 donation aided in the transportation of dogs and cats out of kill shelters and into rescues, foster homes, and veterinary offices. At the inception of the Utah No-Kill Coalition, there were more than 56,000 dogs and cats dying in shelters. Now that number is fewer than 800. We are thrilled to have worked with these organizations and humbled to see the differences our products have made in the lives of animals.
