CHAD SUMMERS

CEO / PRESIDENT

Chad Summers originally joined the Company in October 2019. He was appointed President in May 2021, CEO in January 2022, and was named a Director in November 2022. His prior experience includes participation in start-up ventures in both product and service industries and has a strong background in leadership, consulting, and support. He co-owned and led an international lumber brokering business similar to Jewett-Cameron’s Greenwood division. This experience provided him the opportunity to oversee and actively manage suppliers in China and throughout SE Asia. He also built a successful consulting practice dedicated to growing manufacturers in association with a west coast regional accounting firm which allowed him the opportunity to establish a deep network of manufacturers, professional services and support connections regionally.

MITCH VAN DOMELEN

CFO

Mitch Van Domelen is a Certified Public Accountant who joined Jewett-Cameron in July 2017 as Controller. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2022, and was appointed Corporate Secretary in December 2022. Mr. Van Domelen has extensive experience in finance and financial reporting for both public and private companies. Prior to joining Jewett-Cameron, he served as Controller for a national beverage brand where he managed the financial processes and full-cycle accounting for the company and its nine brewpub locations. From 2007 to 2012 he worked in public accounting at a large regional public accounting firm in Lake Oswego, Oregon, auditing both public and private companies. From 2005 to 2007, he served as a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance consultant for SEC registrants in the Portland metro area, testing their compliance in both US and International regions. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Oregon and is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA's.

IRA REILAND

VP - FULFILLMENT & LOGISTICS

Ira Reiland joined Jewett-Cameron in March 2022 as VP of Fulfillment. He brings with him extensive end to end supply-chain experience from the hi-tech, apparel and renewable energy industries. The focus at every stop of his journey has been on integrating sales with the supply-chain functions and then driving efficiencies through process improvements, technology enhancements and people development. The diverse set of Jewett Cameron products ranging from MEW waste bags to Euro Fence to Perimeter Patrol® combined with the breadth of sales channels create a set of complex supply-chain requirements that provide an intellectually challenging playground for developing a future set of supply-chain leaders to carry this company successfully into the future.

MIKE SIUDA

VP - SALES & MARKETING

Mike Siuda joined the Jewett-Cameron team in July 2024, and brings an extensive sales and marketing background, primarily in the Building Materials and Construction Industries. Prior to joining J-C, he served as the Senior Director of US Sales for Metaltech-Omega, one of the largest manufacturers of construction scaffolding in North America. He has also held sales and marketing leadership positions with Kohler, Rheem Water Heating, and FastenMaster. His 30-plus years of experience in working with professional contractors, builders, wholesale distributors and home improvement merchants brings a deep understanding of the continually evolving construction industry. Mike’s passion is centered around developing efficient, effective sales teams that deliver sales results, and implementing go-to-market strategies that result in alignment across manufacturing organizations. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Dayton, and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.

MARTY RAMIREZ

VP - SUPPLY CHAIN

Marty Ramirez is a strategic executive, bringing a dynamic background in steering enterprise-wide transformational strategies that propel revenue, optimize operations, and enable rapid, sustainable organizational growth. He brings a robust business and industry acumen within analytics, process mapping and modeling, and value stream design to improve processes, enhance performance, and promote innovation. In 2020, Martin joined Jewett-Cameron as SVP Supply Chain and Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing all operational aspects of logistics, warehousing, planning, procurement, and order to cash for a rapidly scaling global lumber, fencing, and pet supply organization. He created a structured business plan, a renewed strategic focus, introduced formal S&OP, and transformed all systems, processes, and technology. He enabled the business to support higher transactions and increased capacity.
